Her Bio.
Dr. Woojung Michelle Lee is a podiatric surgeon who specializes in all facets of podiatric medicine and surgery for both kids and adults. As a board-certified physician by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Lee aims to provide personalized care in the treatment of complex foot and ankle issues while keeping your overall health and well-being at heart of every decision made.
Dr. Lee has developed expertise in treating all congenital and acquired foot deformities, pediatric foot disorders, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgeries. In addition, her passion lies in the minimally invasive cosmetic surgery of the foot and ankle as well as rehabilitation of sports injuries.
Her story.
Dr. Lee was born in South Korea and is fluent in Korean and English. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin (Hook’em) in biochemistry. She then found her passion in podiatric medicine and attended medical school at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class and became a member of Pi-Delta National Medical Honor Society. Post-graduation, she completed 3 years of surgical residency at Hunt regional medical center where she received extensive training under numerous leading foot and ankle specialists in DFW focusing on the latest advances in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
In her free time.
When not at work, she can be found spending time with her husband and two beautiful children, traveling all around the globe, and, of course, checking out the different food cuisines.
She also attempts to work out regularly on her pilates reformer or treadmill.
